Dubai Airport expansion projects 1980-2012
The vision that made the future
The project to build Sheikh Rashid Terminal, in terms of infrastructure development,
was the first big step in what has turned out to be a long and successful journey for
Dubai's aviation sector. We wished there were 240 hours in a day and not 24! It would
have been an impossible undertaking but for the cooperation and encouragement of all,
and their belief that big dreams carry with them challenges similar in size.
